This has been a pretty uneventful summer. I won't lie to you Blorp. I've made decisions that would earn a disapproving frown from my teachers.
But, with 7 days of summer left, I feel no regret. I know there won't be another time where I'll get to play Minecraft with my friends or write cheesy fan fiction all afternoon. It's not the adolescence my peers are having, it's not the adolescence my parents had, but it's the one I enjoy. So, I hope I don't regret this summer when I'm older.
In other news, there's a bitterness in my soul for the fact I just now discovered my love for math. I'm scared that school might dim my excitement for the subject as it's done before. And college. Fuck. The idea of college is so scary. I'm not afraid I won't get in somewhere. I know I will. I guess I'm just afraid of leaving this secluded town, I'm afraid of the uncertainty and the fear that my family won't be there if I fall.
