Wahsaaahhhh Blorp! There's something I want to explain but I don't know how. So, I'm gunna write.

There is a pattern both forming a skill and using a skill.

All steps cannot be done without awareness, and thus, there must be focus free from outside influence. To have skill is to be present, to be present is to be aware, to be aware is to be empathetic.

Once this is understood, it opens up the reality of our situation-- that one person is not born to be better or worse, that one person is not born with a destiny, that one person is not innately better than another.  Instead, all people have a capacity to do everything, good and evil, skill and sloth. The difference is the habit of awareness, once one steps back to understand reality (and more importantly, their feelings toward that reality) without other noise or influence, they allow themselves space for skill development-- for growth.

I am not smart, I am not better, in fact I believe that all labels do is limit. I have simply developed an understanding of our beautiful fluidity. And there stands the only difference. One has to be willing to embrace the discomfort of change in order to grow. And so, when discomfort is avoidable through online distractions, we shift from an active society to an inactive, hostile one. We must regain our freedom by unlearning avoidance. In other words, to be what people consider cool and smart and kind and skilled, you need to log off the internet and learn to think for yourself. (this goes for both me and you, I forget to be aware of myself all the time, but that's why accountability is important)
